Monkey Hill

Toh Sae hill or monkey hill is among the highest heights in Phuket town and a favourite place for the local people and tourists. The hill is known to have a troop of wild macaques that are very active and therefore offer a unique opportunity to watch these mischievous animals in the wild. The winding road is shaded and joggers and walkers like the road, thus making it an outdoor lot.

There is a spectacular top view at the summit that extends to the town of Phuket, the Andaman sea and neighbouring islands. The base is provided with shrines and spirit houses that provide a touch of culture, whilst the viewpoints at the top provide the best background to make a photograph, especially during sunset. And it may be a jungle adventure, a physical challenge, or a scenic view of the island; Monkey Hill has a real experience of nature, culture, and rest when you are not in the busy tourist attractions of the island.
