Uluwatu Temple

Pura Luhur is another name for Uluwatu. Tourists love Uluwatu because of its beautiful setting. Water denotes rock or stone, and Ulu implies the tip or top. Approximately 70 meters above sea level, the majestic temple is perched atop a cliff. One of the six well-known temples considered to be Bali's sacred pillars is this one.

The temple is noted for magnificent sunsets exactly like Tanah Lot Temple, gracing the lovely island of Bali. Perched on a precipitous cliff, Uluwatu Temple's inner sanctum or chamber commands a commanding view of the island's well-known south-breaking surf.
