Anek Kusala Sala

Viharn Sien, also known as Anek Kusala Sala, is a unique cultural museum located just outside Pattaya that reflects the long historical relationship between Thailand and China. The museum was constructed in the late 1980s and can be characterized as a token of goodwill between the two countries, which displays a great number of Chinese art and artefacts, as well as sculptures. There are full-size terracotta warriors, statues of Chinese deities carved in detail and pictures of Chinese monks in the act, which can be seen inside. Even the three-storey pavilion is an architectural marvel created in the true Chinese fashion with the lavish roofs, rich colours, and significant symbolic patterns. In addition to the fact that Anek Kusala Sala is a museum, it is a site of spiritual importance and cultural value. Being in the tranquil environment and being close to the popular Wat Yansangwararam, the attraction is a good way to escape the city life of Pattaya and have a calm stay as a history enthusiast and culture seeker.

Late afternoon visits are also enjoyable, as the soft sunlight beautifully enhances the architecture and the outdoor statues.
