West Coast destinations like Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi, and Penang enjoy dry, sunny days perfect for sightseeing, beach activities, and outdoor adventures. It’s also the ideal period for popular festivals such as Chinese New Year.

Off Season (March to May & October to November)

During these months, rainfall is more common, especially on the east coast. However, this period offers fewer crowds, lush landscapes, and better hotel availability, ideal for budget travelers and nature lovers.

Shoulder Season (June to September)

This is a balanced time to explore Malaysia, with manageable weather and moderate tourist traffic. It’s excellent for visiting highlands like Cameron Highlands or cultural hubs such as Malacca, providing a relaxed yet enjoyable travel experience across the country.

How to Reach Malaysia from Mumbai?

These connect seamlessly to other Malaysian destinations like Langkawi, Penang, or Genting Highlands via domestic flights or ferries.

Visa Requirement for Malaysia

Indian citizens require a visa to visit Malaysia for tourism or business purposes. We recently travelled to Langkawi and Kuala Lumpur and booked our entire trip through Travalot. It was a family trip, and everything was arranged perfectly. Aman, who handled our booking, was very responsive and helpful throughout. The itinerary was well planned, the stays and transfers were smooth, and overall the experience was completely hassle-free. We are very happy with the service and highly recommend Travalot for a well-organized and comfortable trip

The experience was great. There was nothing that we could complain about regarding our tour and the itinerary. Everything was handled with great care any Abhishek. The only issue was with the hotel room. We stayed at Ramada encore, the room was too small and widow was a small rectangle located well above head level. It felt like living in a basement. Would advise to book another hotel or better rooms. Looking back at it, we were pretty happy with all the planning and accomodation tour provided.

We recently traveled to Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi) with the help of Travalot, and I must say it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the very beginning, the team was extremely prompt and professional. A special mention to Rahul Raj Tripathi, who was always quick in responding to every query and message we dropped in the WhatsApp group. His patience and support made the whole journey smooth and stress-free. My husband had planned everything with Travalot, and they managed every detail perfectly. They created a WhatsApp group where they kept us updated with all the daily itineraries in advance, along with tickets for major attractions like the Sky Cable Car and Sky Bridge in Langkawi, as well as Genting Highlands and the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur. This proactive planning saved us so much time and let us enjoy the trip without worrying about the logistics. The local drivers arranged by Travalot were also highly experienced, polite, and well-behaved. Honestly, we never once felt like we were in another country, it felt safe and comfortable throughout. A very big thank you to Rahul for his constant cooperation and support. Without his efforts, this trip wouldn’t have been as memorable for me and my husband. We truly had a beautiful time, and I would definitely choose Travalot again for our next vacation.
