How to reach Mount Titlis
- By Train: This is the most popular route. Take a direct Lucerne-Engelberg Express train from Lucerne; the journey takes approximately 45 minutes. If you are travelling back from Mount Titlis to Zurich, the total travel time is roughly 2 hours with a quick transfer in Lucerne.
- By Car: Follow the A2 motorway and exit at Stans-Süd. Follow the main road to Engelberg. There is ample paid parking available at the valley station.
- By Foot: While you cannot "hike" to the 3,000-meter summit from the base, you can hike from Engelberg to the Trübsee middle station (about 2–3 hours), then continue via gondola.
