How to reach Galle Lighthouse

Galle Lighthouse is located inside Galle Fort, approximately 120 kilometers south of Colombo.

By Car: It takes about 2 hours via the Southern Expressway. Visitors can park outside the fort area and walk to the lighthouse.
By Train: Board a train from Colombo Fort to Galle Station, then take a short tuk-tuk ride to the fort.
On Foot: Once inside Galle Fort, the lighthouse is just a pleasant 10-minute walk from the fort’s main gate, near the southern rampart.
