How to reach Rome

By Air

Leonardo da Vinci is the main airport about 30 kilometres southwest of the city. Another airport is Ciampino which is about 15 kilometres southeast of the city. India and Rome are connected by a number of airlines like Air India, Air France, British Airways and Lufthansa.

By Train

Rome is well connected to all the major cities of Italy and Europe through the rail. Roma Termini is the main railway station. Other stations are Roma Tiburtina, Roma Trastevere, Roma Ostiense and Roma Tuscolana.

By Road

Autostrada del Sole is the main road connecting Rome to the northern and southern Italy. If you plan to drive anywhere in Italy, you will require an international driving licence.
