How to reach Koh Samui

By Air

Direct flights to Koh Samui are an option but there are cheaper options. You can take a flight to Surat Thani and a bus to Koh Samui.

By Train

Overnight trains are available from the Bangkok train station, Hualamphong to Surat Thani and you can opt to take a ferry to Koh Samui.

By Road

You can take a bus from Bangkok to Surat Thani which usually takes 10 to 12 hours. You can even hire taxis or travel by car till Surat Thani. The ferry ride from Surat Thani to Koh Samui adds another 2 hours to the journey.
