The city is served by The Gold Coast Airport, also called Coolangatta Airport. Even though it is relatively small, it is well connected with the other cities in Australia and some of the major cities in the world (especially in Asia and New Zealand). If a direct flight to Gold Coast is not available, you can take one till Sydney or Melbourne or Brisbane and board a connecting flight to Gold Coast from there.
